Sania Gilang Hati est née à Jakarta, capitale d'Indonésie, archipel multiculturel. Sa famille étant originaire de Bandung West Java, Sania est imprégnée de la culture Sundanais.

Son père ayant repéré très tôt qu’elle avait du talent, l'amenait souvent dans les galeries depuis son plus jeune âge. Sania réalisa sa première toile, avec de la peinture à l’huile, dès ses 9 ans.

Diplômé avec mention d'un bac des beaux arts en 2008 à l'Institut Tecnologie Bandung, Indonésie, elle poursuit sa carrière dans l'art et fait plusieurs expositions de groupe ainsi que des expositions en solo, en Indonésie, Malaisie, Chine, etc.
En 2009, sa préoccupation pour l'environnement, en particulier le réchauffement climatique, l'a amenée à sa première exposition en solo à l'étranger au Ritz Carlton Guangzhou, en Chine. Inaugurée par l'ambassade d'Indonésie. L’intégralité des fonds récoltés par l’exposition ont permis à une Fondation environnementale du Guangdong de planter 10.000 des arbres et à protéger la rivière des perles Zhujiang à Ghuangzhou (Canton) en Chine.

Avec une predilection pour l’huile, Sania utilise également de l'aquarelle et mixed media dans ses œuvres d'art. Pour le spectateur, son style est naïf, mais il y a plus que cela. Son amour pour l'impressionnisme, l'expressionnisme et le cubisme, impacte ses œuvres. Elles ont une couleur forte et audacieuse avec de nombreux objets simplifiés qui fascineront le spectateur, car ils parlent non seulement de ce que nous pouvons voir, mais aussi de la signification des nombreux symboles à l'intérieur de nous-mêmes, de notre société, de nos souvenirs, de notre vie, de notre amour mais aussi de notre environnement et notre futur.

Sania Gilang Hati was born in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, multicultural archipelago.
With her family’s Bandung west Java origins, Sania is impregnated with the sundanese culture.
Discovered at an early age, her father used to bring her very often to galeries, artists talk and exhibitions. Sania did her first art work (oil on canvas) at the age of 9.
Cumlaude baccalaureate of art in 2008 from one of the most south east Asia reputed institute, ITB Bandung, Indonesia, she continues her career in art and managed some group exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions, in Indonesia, Malaysia, China, etc.
In 2009, her concern about the environment, especially about global warming brought her to her first abroad solo exhibition in Ritz Carlton hotel, Guangzhou, China, opened by the Ambassador of Indonesia. All the funds raised from the sale tribute to Guangdong environmental foundation to plant 10.000 trees and protect the Pearl river-Zhujiang xincheng in Guangzhou, China.
Besides her fondness in oil, Sania also uses watercolor and mixed media in her works of art.
For the viewer, her style may be naive, but it is richer than that. Her love for the impressionism, expressionism and cubism, impacts her artworks. Those have a strong bold color with many simplified objects which may fascinate the viewer, because it ain’t only about what we see, but also the meaning of many symbol inside ourselves, our societies, memories, lives, love, but also about our environment and our future.
After seven years in between France and Indonesia, she stay few years in the heart of the Provence region, region particularly appreciated amongst well reknown artist such as Van Gogh, Cezanne, Paul Gauguin, and Picasso, in the city of Salon-de-Provence and did the 2nd My Sky My Home exhibition on 2021.

Her dream is to exhibit her works worldwide and spread the messages to protect the earth and our future.
